How do you handle a situation where you had a relationship with this guy in high school during your 11th grade. As years pass, like say 11, you and one of his cousin find out you have more in common than you thought. You both find each other attractive, and have known each other. My question is what should one do: ignore b/c of past history?

  1. i would date his cuz. the past is the past. it happend a long time ago. obv. u guy broke up and in 11 yrs cemistry is most likey lost.go for it gurl..its worth your happiness.

  2. I don't see anything wrong with that. it's been 11 years.

  3. It has been 11 years!! If you have chemistry with the cousin, go for it (unless you and the first guy ended on terrible terms or he still likes you or other stuff). You might wanna check with the first guy to see if its okay, but he'll probably say "its been 11 years, do what you want."

  4. If it's been 11 years, and you dated the cousin when you were 16 or 17, I'd say the statute of limitations is up on this situation. Go for it - date the cousin. no harm, no foul.

  5. Ignore it, because if you get intimately involved with this cousin, then when you see the one you dated, it could bring back feelings.
