  1. Yes, it's a problem.  No, not everyone has seen your ring. Maybe, most people saw your ring but I did not and I am included in every one.  Unless you can be sure that your missing ring was stolen by China it is not wise to state that they took it.  If China does have your ring it will be as you indicated a problem to recover it.  No mater who you ask about your ring, that person can claim no knowledge of it.  Perhaps there is some connection between your missing ring and the five Olympic rings which many people should have grown weary of seeing by now.  Those rings are symbolic of five different Continents from which athletes come to compete in the Olympic Games.  People have been asked to a avoid Olympic sponsors.  That five ring symbol being displayed on the products of such sponsors will make it more unlikely that people will unknowing purchase such products.  If your ring was a cell phone ring tone designed by you and then taken, copied, and sold, there is virtually nothing you can do. If you had it copyrighted that would be copyright infringement, but internationally copyrights are difficult to protect even on major products such as movies on DVD.  Proving the source of a ring tone will be virtually imposable unless there is a small unnoticed code within your ring tone.  It would be analogous to the tiny non-existent towns which some map makers put on their maps.  Because such a town is not there at all, when it is found on a competitors map is proof that the map was copied from the copyright holders map.. Publishers of large "Who's Who" books sometimes include  the name of person who does not exist for the same purpose. Because you claim the title 'The Lord of The Ring" the ring must be an important part of your life.  Let us all hope for a quick return of your ring. Then you can feel more nearly complete and began enjoying life again. Good Luck !
