  1. NO!! If you get a rabbit you should neuter or spay them both, unless you plan on breeding. Does (female rabbits) if are not spayed, will likely die within 5 years of a very painful cancer. Bucks (male rabbits) will be much more aggressive in a few months [for you since he's about a year] I would suggest getting a buck, unless you plan on getting a doe later on. Then the males will fight till the death for that female, especially if not nuertered both, the male wont like that, nor will the female.. So no matter what you get, if you dont plan on breeding, get them ALL fixed.

Bottom line, I would get the male, they would be able to bond a little more because of the same s*x. I could tell you that I'd feel ALOT more comfortable toppling over a girl for play wrestling, than a guy.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

  2. get a female rabbit......ever read Frankenstein?? All animals crave for a female companion............I don't know if you should neuter him though....that would be like teasing him i guess.............

  3. Well are you going to put them in the same cage? If you are to males will fight and fight. If you got a female you would have to get one your rabbit neutered. Which your rabbit won't like. So its a ruff question. Do you think your rabbit really needs a friends???

Maybe instead of getting a new pet rabbit just take special care of him give him toys, treats, and tons of hay!

  4. Get that male dwarf of yours a female dwarf.  But not other breed because the other breed is bigger then dwarf and the male dwarf might be scared of the bigger ones causing stress.  Getting other male bunny is not advisable because that will become aggressive and fight with each other.  So my conclusion is get the male dwarf of your a girl dwarf it will make him less boring and of course more happy.  I did that for my male dwarf bunny too.  He is so happy with his female bunny pal and is always cuddly towards each other.

  5. If you put to males together they will fight unless you get them both nuterd. i think if you get a girl rabbit they will be depened on each other and wont want to be seperated at all.

  6. You don't need to get him a friend. You are his friend. If you get another rabbit you should expect them to be aggressive toward each other to some extent.

If you want to get another rabbit, be sure they have separate cages to retreat to.

    Have a good day!

  7. Either way you should neuter him

If you get another male they will be aggressive unless they are both neutered.

And if you get a female, you'll want to spay her and neuter him.

    Good luck!
