  1. That looks like a good reintroduction to swimming.  It's important to get a feel for the water when being out for a while so you don't hurt yourself.  Throwing in some kicking and drilling will help do this.  Your shoulders will burn and it might help to alternate your free with some back, maybe going odds free and evens back.


  2. Yeah that is pretty good workout!!!

    I would just throw like building 75's free in there.

    Also Drills help alot.

    So maybe do some drills for every stroke such as

    Fly: Kicking, Right arm, left arm

    Back: Kick, Right arm, left arm,

    Breast: 3 kicks one pull, fly kick breast pull, hold your streamline position for four seconds before taking another stroke

    Free: Kick, Right arm, Left arm, Thumb line

    Thats about all the drills I can explain on line.

    Oh and to get a good rythym for backstroke kick try holding a kickboard above your head while you swim. Make sure all of your arm is out of the water. Do it with both arms to make it wicked challenging!!
