Work, life, friends -- they've all taken their toll and at this point I am running on empty. Next week I really need to push hard at work but my personal life is gonna be demanding too.

I need to unwind from this week and re-charge for next week but I'm not even sure where to start! Sounds crazy, I know but it's Friday evening and I'm already stressing about "how do I relax?!?!"

Please help!

  1. Church. When I need to unwind and just be at peace I go to church to just listen and be at ease with everything. It helps me organize my thoughts and helps me to relax and know that everything will be fine. That's where I would start.

  2. umm.................maybe when it's dark you can look at the stars to relax

  3. tell me about it! life its tuff. try kicking it in the back yard. what i do sometimes is just lay down in the dark on my bed. and tell everyone to leave me the f alone. try and take care of urself this weekend. dont go anywhere just stay home and try and relax.

  4. Relaxing the mind and revitalizing the body seems to be what everybody needs nowadays, after a hectic schedule, a busy lifestyle and a stressful city living.

Herb baths were popular in ancient Greece and Rome; being enjoyed both for their healing and beautifying properties. Herbal baths have been show to have a powerful effect on the mind. They encourage feelings of calmness and relaxation or stimulate and invigorate us. When herbs are added to our bath water, they are absorbed through the skin and travel directly into the bloodstream, where they influence our inner systems with their active components.

Today, the tempo of our lives is moving at a faster pace than it ever has before. The overwhelming pressures and increased demands placed upon us leave us with little time in which to unwind. One of the easiest ways of bringing a little rest and relaxation into our lives is by taking a hot bath. Soaking in a bath is not only an enjoyable way of reducing tension in itself, but by adding herbs to your bath, you can further enhance its healing properties.

To enhance and deepen your relaxation experience even further, try lighting a scented candle, playing soft music or reading a good book. These ideas have been know to help further your feelings of pleasure and enjoyment. Herb baths not only feel good, but they help us to transform the stress filled energy of our daily life into positive, rejuvenating, healthy energy. So relax and enjoy!
