I have inlinks and google & MSN has been indexing. My last website was indexed in less than 30 days. Do they have a strict sandbox now for new websites?

  1. Bots (spiders) follow links rather than bouncing around at random.

    Two fixes:

    1. Embed text links in your site's body text hooked into other pages of your site. Spiders will follow these links to your other site pages; and

    2. Submit a site map to Yahoo and Google. This is like an invitation to crawl your site and the site map provides all the links on your site, making it easier to get more pages indexed in the search engine.

    Best of luck, Yahoo-wise,

  2. Yahoo is a <title> metatag-driven search directory and the total entry limitation is 69 characters [including spaces].  I would check the various webpage <title> metatags for conformance to this criteria.  Normally, only the index.html opening page is indexed by Yahoo's robot within 30 days.  The remaining sub-webpages are not indexed.  Also take note that any audio files (which are scripted) may, in fact, halt indexing because of the link reference.  You may well want to consider the removal of the audio link alltogether.

    Good luck!
