It's been so long!?

I quit tennis last year 2 get a job, but I guess I can't live without it! now I'm trying out, last minute! and I feel like I've forgotten everything! any tips on how 2 play or gain my confidence back? just anything! FREE POINTS i guess!

  1. I was in a similar situation and what helped me was to try and reacquire one stroke at a time. Focus on what was your strongest stroke before you took time off first then gradually try to improve your weakest.

  2. Just start back playing, it'll come back to you.  Plus you can always go to the library and get some tennis tapes, or just watch it on tv.  With each ball you hit, you will remember what you think you have forgotten.

  3. Try and start off by playing people who will just knock up with you. You want to just get your swing back and some feel. Then when you are ready play some poor level players and get some wins to improve your confidence. The speed at which you improve is usually how much you play.

  4. try hitting against a wall for a week or 2.

  5. A ball thrower can help you gain your rhythm and confidence back

  6. Firstly, I think that you need a coach who give you back your self confindence. Everything else is only consistence and practice, obviously with time!
