It's football season, and I'm a tight end how can I improve?

I'm starting Tight End for are freshman football team. I'm 5ft. 8in, 148lbs. My 40 time was 5.24. How can I get better, what are some drill's I can run to improve.

  1. Get in the weight room.  You might be able to ask your coach or your gym teacher if they will write a "program" for you. Basically, they'll make a series of lifts you can perform to give you a balanced workout. After that, I suggest running and jogging... a lot. Drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet. Good luck and work your tail off.
