It's freshmen year and I need a new hair cut!?

Question

Please help! I have side swept bangs, lots a layers and hair thats two inches past my shoulders. I was thinking something like this:

but my sister hates it and says i'll look really bad on me. any suggestions?

I like the fringe but I think your hair might be a little on the thin side to carry off the length.  A fringe (bangs?) would suit you, though.

I would go for it, but instead of that short length, keep it like 3 inches longer or so.
