  1. Thermal trough building in your region could be the reason for heat. Thermal troughs bring lot of heat waves and very hot ones too. I live in San Francisco and a few weeks ago a thermal trough brought 96 degree heat in San Francisco while our normal temperature is 66 degrees for May. So those thermal troughs really can bring some intense heat.


  2. I know!  I'm in western Pa, too.  Where are you?  Weather.com is actually saying something crazy like 95 degrees.  Can you imagine?

    And it was only 32 degrees the other night.  I think last night has been the first time our furnace wasn't running.
