if your parents are willing to pay for some decorations, oriental trading has some pretty awesome packages for themed parties. my sister had one kinda like yours, but it was called movie night. it had a blow-up oscar award and a red carpet, it was pretty cool.

If its Hollywood, i suggest ya know those little black and white box things, made from plastic, dangling from string on the doors, and paper plates shaped like a video camera, and director chair seats, with the attendants names written on the backs of the chairs! Oh, and more people, like 5-8 more.

There's lots you can do!

Get a red carpet or fabric to put at the entry way for your friends to enter on.

Before the movie, have a little pre party with some appetizers and drinks.  Things like pizza bagel bites, franks in blankets, etc.  Things that can hold everyone over from the movie until food time!  Also have some drinks like soda, water, lemonade and iced tea and you can serve them up in martini glasses for the effect.  If you do the lemonade, make it pink, just add some grenadine which you can get at any grocery store in the soda aisle, and it's just a sweetner, the more you add, the sweeter it will get and pinker it will get.  You can add it to store bought regular lemonade.  I have done it a LOT and it tastes fine!  You can even add a little marachino cherry to the bottom of the martini glass for effect before pouring the drinks!

At movie time, make sure everyone has their own bucket of popcorn.  You can get the cardboard buckets at blockbuster or party city, etc.  You can then get some big boxes of movie candy and pass them around to share.  If your friends are sleeping over, tell them to bring their blankets and pillows to lounge out on during the movie.

Hang up a white sheet to use as a photo backdrop and before the movies, you can get some props like boas, fun sunglasses, funny hats, etc, and even ask your friends to bring some and then before the movies, you and your friends can pose in front of the backdrop with the props and each other and take pictures.  You'll have fun with the props and each other and have some great pictures to show at the end of the party!!

After the movie, it's time for the "after" party!  This is where you eat, and for food, do whatever is your favorite food, if that's pizza, do pizza, if it's tacos, do a taco bar, if it's bbq, do burgers and hot dogs, etc. This is YOUR birthday, and YOUR party, it's time for you to have the foods you like and that are your favorites.  Don't serve foods you may not like just to follow a theme, that would ruin your party, have the foods you like and enjoy your party!

Then you can set up an ice cream bar. Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream or whatever flavors you like and some toppings. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and marachino cherries and have everyone make their own sundaes.  You can get the plastic sundae glasses at the dollar store or the waffle cone bowls at the grocery store.

Then, you can get some blank picture frames at the crafts store before the party.  Get one for you and each of your guests, these are the ones that are white or wood and have to be decorated.  Get them and some paint, glitter, and stickers, the scrapbooking section has TONS of movie and hollywood stickers. You and your friends can each do a frame and they can take it home as a favor to put their favorite picture in from the night, especially since you have all those from the backdrop!

You can hang black and silver stars from the ceilings and even put some gold ones in too.  Then get black, silver, and gold balloons and cluster them in the corners of the room.  Get black tablecloths and then silver napkins to contrast the tablecloths.

If you go to any party store you can find so many other decorations to follow your theme.

You can also find a pinata that matches your theme or even one you like.  In the same aisles there's usually what's called pinata filler too, those are big bags of candy to fill them with.  If you can't break them in the house, get the ones you pull the strings to open.  Just make sure if you do get one to write everyone's names on their bags so no one is fighting over bags at the end of the night.  I have seen this happen and IT DOES happen and simply taking a sharpie marker to an empty ziploc bag before the party starts prevents any of that from happening because everyone will know their bags!  Believe me, it will save the arguments!

It depends where your having this party but you could have a red carpet and stuff outside your house leading into the front entrance.

Everyone could dress up has there favourite celebrity..

if your going to have a table where everyone sits, the name tags could be stars with there names on it.

You could have Hollywood themed food with martini glasses for drinks.

well you can get some aldults to be like a make up crew and wordrobe too then act out some of your fav moveis scenes.

or make it like a red carpet affair everyone dress for the red carpet and get pictures of everyone like the mags print big smile and red lips and the guys make sure the put eyeliner and coverup on lol   or put a sign out side that says welcome to hollywood grab a video camera and have some hollywood auditions have fun

maybe like tell people to dress up as their fav celeb. and give  an award for who looks the most like thier celeb? have a singing or dancing contest?

Well I think you should do something with the Hollywood Stars. Like where they have the actor/actress' name on the stars. That would be cool. A red carpet, too. Ummm, Fun glasses for drinks. Sunglasses? Haha. Pictures?
