It's my mom's birthday, what should I give to her?

I am a male, I have no idea what to give to her, I will give her flowers, but what else, it's such a difficult task every year...

There's lots of options!  It's sweet that you're asking and thinking about it!  First, think about the things that she likes, where does she go when she travels, what does she do in her spare time, etc?

Does she like to read?  Maybe some books?

Fountain for the yard, office, home?

Does she like to garden, some plants, trees, or flowers for her garden, or some tools for the garden.

Does she like to cook, some new cookware or cutlery, or gadets.

CDs of her favorite singer or bands, or CD sets

DVDs of her favorite shows or movies

If she has a hobby, something to do with that hobby or a gift card to the store she shops in for that hobby.

If she likes coffe, Keurig has made a coffee maker that makes one cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa, within a minute using pods.  You can even skip the pods and use your own coffee by buying a special filter that's under $20.  This maker is awesome, you put in the water, put in the pod, press what size cup you want, put your cup there, and viola, you have your cup!  You can get it at Linens and Things, Bed, Bath, and Beyond and their websites and I think Kohls too.

If she likes wine, a wine refigerator a bottle of wine.

Tickets to a show or concert.

A spa day.

A hammock for the yard.

Take her out!  That would mean more to her than anything!  Spend time with her, take her to a show, dinner, a movie, anything.  Spending time with you is going to mean more to her than anything else!

Jewelry, earrings, bracelet, necklace, etc.

A mother's ring

Take her on a Dinner Cruise

Weekend Getaway

Clothing

GPS Unit

Laptop

iPod

Stereo

Direct TV or The Dish

If she's a fan of a team or sports, get her some fan gear or tickets to a sporting event.  You can get her a shirt, mug, etc.

Get her car washed, waxed, and detailed.

Casino weekend

If she collects anything, get her something to add to her collection.

If she likes to go on day trips with her friends, or weekend getaways, set one up for her a friend or relative, or better yet, YOU and her, she would LOVE that!

If there's something that she's been wanting to do or been wanting to go somewhere, now's the time.  Whether it's something in the house, a piece of art, a piece of furniture, etc.

You can get her a nice frame with a picture of you and her in it, that would mean a lot to her.

Set up a time and date to get a family portrait done and framed.

Perfume and her favorite lotions and things, but you would have to go through her bedroom and things, and I'm not how comfortable you'd be doing that.  If you're married, you could ask your wife to ask what she likes.

You can ask her if she has anything special in mind for her birthday.  She may be eyeing something that she wants.

You can get her a gas card if she commutes back and forth to worth.

You can send her to a wine tasting and out to dinner at a winery.
