  1. make sure there are no parents or adults in the house trust me it puts children in a very awkward position if all there Friends are over and there parents join in , trust him.anyways a BBQ would be nice and I'm sure he would really enjoy it if you  hired a party DJ to come to his16Th birthday ,wen my 15 year old son had a party i just gave him £50 and he bought everyone an Indian then went out with his mates afterwords hope this helps        chloex

  2. karaoke and drinks

  3. Ask him what he wants to do and then you and Dad fade away.

Most likely at 16 he doesn't want a party with Mommy and Daddy.

PS Don't leave a bunch of underage kids at your house with beer or any other kind of alcohol.  Not only is it illegal, and if caught YOU, not the kids, will pay the consequences, but no other parent would want their children drinking at that age. Please don't listen to those other answers that advise you to provide alcohol to minors.

  4. marquee, bbq, friends ...great

  5. I suggest a barbecue and a professional DJ in the garden. Perhaps buy a gazebo (if you don't already have one) to put up, in case it rains. Make a buffet as well as the food for the barbecue, that way people have a choice of what to eat. If you know what your son's favourite band is, you can inform the DJ so he knows what type of music to play.

  6. he is 16

he will prob want you to lreave him alone

    and just take him shopping

let him do what he wants

mayb buy some condoms so the guests dont get bored ;]

  7. Give him money, and go away.

    Sorry, but thats the truth!

  8. WARNING - he would probably shrivel up and die if he knew you had posted this question.  Sounds like you're treating him as if he was 6 not 16.

  9. give him a hug and the warmest blessings.

draw a Birthday card by yourself.

i think spending time with the family is the best.

no need to have many decorations or food or friends.

  10. You want him to have a good party... tell him. Let him plan the party and it'll be his favourite yet. tell him the rules if you have any and so on.

    OR

If you want a suprise then most people have that covered. drinks, music, friends...he might be a bit old for a theme but it depends on what kind of kid he is.

The big backyard is great but there will probably be gate crashers and alchol. It depends on what kind of wild time you want to have.

AND(this is kind of dragging out) if you want to avoid cleaning leave him with the house for the party night. it'll be destroyed but if he ever wants anything to do with you he'll clean it up before you get home, plus he'd probably like the freedom.

  11. Inflatable sumo suits, what a laugh they are, for my sons 16th we set up a marquee and let his friends group come and play in it, I even managed to talk them into playing some Bryan Adams even though they'd never heard of him, bouncy castle but have the hose pipe ready to wash the sick off, Barby, really loud music warn the neighbours, there's a company that do a table foortball set for the garden to hire, you strap yourself into the harness and play table footie.  Good luck hope the weather holds...

  12. if the weather is nice do a barbecue

  13. Hire a stripper?

No - just kidding.  Let him have some freedom. Find out what sort of party he'd like, set it up for him, then leave town for the night. Tell him you want to treat him like and adult, and see if he'll want that sort of responsibity. Give him a step up towards adulthood. I'm sure he'll be pleased with that, and act responsibly.

  14. find out what he likes

if he likes music, get a band playing there

    skaeboarding, buy him a skatepark

if you want to make it special, go all out

  15. A theme party, ask him what theme he would like for his party http://www.pinatas.com/Theme_Party_Suppl...

  16. Hi,

Why dont you have a cake made with a personalised design of you choice, one that your son is bound to love.

    Email me for more info

  17. make sure there are no parents in the house lol

  18. Lots of good music, decorations should be blue, serve some good food like pizza, pinata

  19. 10 cases of cheap beer, lots of burgers/sausages buns/onions etc., tons of footballs, basketball stand, loud music and a hose pipe to wash them down/cool them off! We had pin the bomb on the terrorist games, too, with blindfolds, a massive bouncy castle (and luckily we have a swimming pool here)...hee hee hee...

  20. BBQ with Beers is a must! Just let them get on with it.

Ask him what he wants to do and what ideas he has and then ask if you can help!

May-be sing star, guitar hero or rock band party.

He might want fancy dress theme or play a bit of footie.

  21. Loads of good food

Alcahol if you are prepared to do that and if he is having friends.

If its family, food and a massive cake! All his favourite stuff.

    Music

    Fireworks?

  22. unless this is a surprise party you can just ask him

  23. give him a gr8 gift!
