For those of you who are green, do you find yourself slipping every now and then, or are you green all the time?

I mean say you are on a trip and there is not a place to put recyclables, do you let it go, or bring it home?

  1. I am afraid to say that I do slipp it alot. I mean, its kinda weird but I am not in my teens yet, almost there :]

and my family does recycle and everything, but it's hard especailly grandparents they keep saying let the government worry about electrics and water, but yea, i don't have much control and I am doing my best, picking up cans and bottles, my grandparents does too, just that they only do when they see like 6 at a time. I want to pick any up, and if I do, they usually get mad saying stuff like you are stupid to pick it up germs and blah blah blah... yeah, it's hard being a kid sometimes....

  2. i would keep it until i find a recycle bin.no its not hard to be "green".i personly think its very easy.it might be hard if u are just becoming green, but once u have been green for a while, its like a part of ur lifestyle.its like a normal daily routine too me.i mean yea,i will slip every now and then, but i will try to make up for it later.

  3. I'll pick up the aluminum and glass trash along the road by my house, but toss a can or bottle in Chicago instead of flying it home.

  4. Oh I have some moments where I cave, and do the easier thing, especially away from home. I am trying to get better and better though! I can't stand any trash in my car, so that's gonna be hard to overcome, so I'll work on it.

Otherwise at home I'm 100% good at living green. I like to make a game of it, trying to find ways to reuse things, I also started bringing my own bags to the stores now. I just want to get better and better. We want to save for solar panels, I think that's the best idea to  make a huge difference. I want to be as energy efficient as possible and this will bring our home up to really a geen living environment. Not perfect yet, but keep trying hard to be!

  5. I would bring it home, but you can still be green and mess up a little bit.    Your probaly doing a great job.

  6. I am not prefect but i try VERY hard to get other to reduce reuse and recycle, but eating all organic is expensive but is worth it but i do slip quite a bit but every bit helps so don't let that stop you i bet you are doing an AMAZING job don't give up influnce others to be green.

  7. I started my quest to be green not long ago, and sometimes I do slip up. There were a lot of little things in my household that I needed to address, and I let some of them go for the sake of my sanity :o)  I think that as long as you are consciously making the effort to be easier on the Earth and try your best to do everything you can, you can't mess up :o)
