Ok so volleyball tryout started monday and I did my best monday and tuesday. There were a cuple of girls there that don't kno how to bump, set, or overhead serve. I didn't make first cut but they did. One is even on JV and she runs frm the balls. I play volleyball, softball, and basketball. I am very athletic and evryone was shocked and mad when I didn't make it. DO YOU THINK ITS FAIR I GOT CUT? WHAT SHOULD I DO DIFFERENTLY NEXT YEAR?

  1. ik i hate it when they do that! i play volleyball too.

well first of all that isnt fair at all. the coach was obviously playing favorites. if the girl is going to run away from the ball that's pretty bad. anyway- you should just let it go even tho its not fair. next year try out for another team. or if you cant just try out again. if you dont make it then you know the coach isnt being fair.

you should ask the coach what you did wrong and how you can improve.

btw- if the girls who sucked were older then you. that probably why they got in.

  2. First you should ask the coach why you got cut. It might have been a mistake, or there might have been a very good reason that you just haven't thought of.

  3. Tell the coaches to go f themselves.

  4. I feel the same way when my coach told someone else who did volleyball when tryouts starts and not me, and u did everything right, so complain lol but true

  5. maybe you should check your attitude?

i've known lots of girls who had more skill than girls that made the team over them, but the other girl made it because coaches don't want drama and don't like having players with poor mentality on their team.

i can already tell you have a bad attidue because you're judging people who would have been your teammates. NEVER judge other people and whine about how they suck and your good... if you were THAT good then you wouldn't have a problem making the team. maybe he sees potential in that girl.... i was on the freshman team and my friends got moved up but i was just glad to be playing and then the next year they were on jv again and i was on varsity. you need a new perspective.

  6. you should definitely talk to your coach. she can give you a bunch of tips on what to do differently. Skill may not be the reason you were cut. Maybe you were acting very cocky and overconfident and the coach didn't want a player like that...maybe you weren't but I'm just saying. The coach will tell you what you didn't have that she wanted if you talk to her. But don't be all rude when you talk to her, or whiney or anything. You're in highschool now so start taking responsibility.

  7. well u sound very confidant and that may have been the problem, you could have been so confidant that u couldn't c ur flaws and didn't c ne thing good in ne1 else, only there flaws. maybe it just wasn't ur team, who knows, talk to the coach.
