  1. remove the handle and take it to your local plumbing supply store.  they will assist you in picking the correct parts to rebuild your valve.

depending on the model, it may come with the ball, be sure to replace that part too!

  2. you just need to buy a replacement. either you have one that unscrews or it has an allen s***w underneath it

  3. Sounds like you need some replacement/repair on the hot water shut-off valve. They are usually the first to start leaking but it would be best to repair both hot and cold valves.

If you don't know anything about  plumbing repairs then take a picture of the faucets and spout then find either a friendly plumber or a good hardware store such as "ACE" or plumbing dept. at Home Depot, etc. Show the pic. to them and ask for help.

  4. Inside of the valve body (the part with the handle that control the water flow) there is cartridge assembly. You have an o-ring that is worn in that cartridge assembly and is allowing hot water to leak by.

Parts for a 5 year old Delta faucet are readily available and easy to replace. Go to you local hardware store, tell someone in the plumbing department your story and they will show you what you need to do.
