It's official - I am pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this isn't a question, but I needed to let everyone know, after my doctors confirmation, that I am officially pregnant! 5 weeks 4 days to be exact! I had a chemical last cycle, for whatever reason, but this cycle I got my first BFP on 7DPO, and every day since the line just gets darker and darker, and doesn't fade away like last time. My symptoms are yucky waves of nausea and really really sore b***s. The only thing I did different this cycle was take vitex agnus castus to help regulate hormones (did everyone know that vitex increases progesterone naturally?). Anyway, my EDD is 4th April, 2009. My first ultrasound is in 2 weeks and I am having an amnio in a few weeks to rule out downs syndrome and spina bifida (because of my age which is 37).

I just want to say to all my fellow TTCers that it will happen - it took me 6 months (it felt like 6 years!). Goodluck and baby dust to all!

How wonderful for you, I am a mum of 4 kids, they are a handful, but i am so pleased that i have them, I wouldn't change any of them for the world.

I am glad you posted this question. You put a big smile on my face before i go to bed. I hope you feel like the most special person in the world right now, as all newly pregnant women have the right to feel!

Who cares what awful people say, just remember your hormones are a little excitable at the moment, and just let go all the negatives, they really aren't important!

Congrats! I had an increase in progesterone. Think twins! I didnt and thats what I had!

Had one 14 months ago.  A real joy.

Be ready for everything; mood swings, new feelings, noises, kicks, giggles, crying, laughing.

It's a big step, but thrilling.

Have a lot of support; it takes a village to raise a kid, particularly in the first 8-10 months.  Having people around for a couple of hours a day will be quite helpful.  You cannot do it all yourself, even though you may feel strong like ox.

CONGRATS! That is wonderful news. And many thanks for posting about Vitex--could you add a little more about what it is? Did your doc or another health provider prescribe it, or did you pick it up on your own? Thank you...

Aww hun, don't let some jerk upset you, it's fantastic news that you got confirmation on your pregnany and to get it so early is wonderful and proof to those out there who say it's not possible that it is possible indeed CONGRATULATIONS, so thrilled for you, and thankyou for the email earlier, very much appreciate it.

I still find it odd, looking at my girls, remembering vividly when i found out i was very early pregnant with each of them and now they are 8, 5 & 3. :)
