It's on! Pacquiao vs De La Hoya, Dec 6?

We've been hearing about this matchup for a while. Whatever each boxer's reason for taking this fight is now irrelevant. We'd like to know how you see the fight going down.

for the fighters it dont matter who wins, they will get tremendous amount of cash for both of them... as for who wins pacman on 6 rounds... why? pacman is faster, much more of a hard hitter and younger... and pacman will put de la hoya on his long list of boxers that he retired... but its us fans who really wins in this match coz boxing is losing its mojo and this match could save it... cant wait 2 watch it...

i say De la Hoya by decision ! Pacquiao is a lightweight....& at 3 to 4 inches shorter doesn't have the "reach"........................

wtf seriously this fight is a joke come on people,  de la hoya is a light middleweight,  manny is a featherweight barely,  de la hoya well put him in a coma,  why is this fight going to happend in the first place? just makes boxing look like a joke or something.  the only sport like this that is real,  i like de la hoya for his weight  and manny for his,  manny would take for ever to put on all that weight and if he does he well be slow and got no skills anymore, as for de la hoya he well have the easiest and funny night of his life as he  k.o  pacman with the left hook  and sents him to the hospital...  which that sucks, what a pitty, what is boxing becoming to now ,

De La Hoya just hand picked a smaller fighter (Pacman) so he may have a chance of winning.Margarito is the one he should fight ,But Oscar is scared and wants no part of Margarito.

Hope Pacman beats Oscar.

I think Oscar will be to smart and strong for Pac Man. Pac has never fought anybody of Oscars caliber. Forget about trying to knock out Oscar, he will not let it happen. I pick Oscar in a close fight.

Pacquiao is very durable. He has proven that he can go toe to toe with the best fighters & absorb punishment. But De La Hoya is a whole different ballgame. Power, reach & in-ring techniques will be an advantage for the Golden Boy. Manny will have the speed and punching power... But its hard to hit if you cannot get close enough to the target. Whereas, De La Hoya could just counter punch Pacquiao's attacks. I pick De La Hoya in 10 rounds.

P.S.

I'm Filipino, so I'm not biased. I'm just being realistic.

Ridiculous. I like Pacquiao, but get real. He does not have the reach or power to hurt DLH. I'll state this again and again, if you think Pacman hits harder than Tito Trinidad, who didn't even rock DLH, then you are a fool.
