My best friend is really popular at school. She's involved in like every activity and she makes friends really easily. She's super outgoing and really funny.

I on the other hand only play one sport and am really quiet. Over I had her all to myself and we hung out all the time. But we went back to school yesterday and I find it so annoying when this happens.

We'll be walking down the hall together and people will pass and only say hi to her. Not even looking at me, even if they know who I am. They ask her how she is doing and act like I'm not even there!!! How can I make this stop?

  1. How rude of them to not even acknowledge you or say hi, as if it would kill them. This happens to me a lot when I'm with my high school classmates. I even tried to talk to one of them when the conversation ended with my friend and he totally blew me off. Needless to say that I felt horribly slighted. I haven't figured out how to handle this or what to do. Usually, I just stay quiet and be there. But sometimes these rude people are ruder still by interrupting our conversation. It's like I'm invisible. My friend is annoyed too but too polite to call them out about it. I'm interested if anyone has a good suggestion on what to do.

I'm still dumbfounded. You could say hi to them and ask them how they are. Maybe they think you are s****. because you are quiet?

I don't think that was the case with me. I think I just went to school with some really mean and rude kids.

  2. It must be tough! You need to talk to your best friend. Tell her that you sort of feel left out and ask her to introduce you to those friends of hers. Once they see how fabulous you are I doubt you'll feel this way again! Trust me, I've been the quiet one and once I started opening up a little more, things became WAY better!! Maybe you can also join another activity that you like art or something to meet more people! All the best =D

  3. Talk to her about it, tell her how you feel about it..

  4. She is your best friend, ask her to help you get to know more people and be more outgoing.

  5. say hi....
