ya so I have searched a lot info about the minimum wage of working at a pizza restaurant. Most people wrote that for a 15-16 year old teen gets $5.15/hour. Well I don't believe it, because I work at FreshSlice Pizza, and I get 9 dollars an hour. I am 16 and I have worked there for 3 months now. I get 80 hours every two weeks. I might be the A.Manager when I am only 16. So is there a big difference btw working at FreshSlice pizza than other pizza restrarant like pizza hut, little caesar? Thank you and for those of you that started with 5 dollars an hour, I feel very bad for you, because working at a pizza store is not an easy job. Lots of work and responsibilities. Thanks for all the answers

  1. It must be pretty good to be making all that money while you're just a child, wet your hands just a little with some money! Good job kid!

  2. Well minimum wage is now up to $6.55/hour, but generally if there is a really high turnover rate, you'll get paid more to do the job because you'll actually stay there. If you become a manager, congrats, but remember, a good worker doesn't make a manager, a good leader does

  3. Most teenagers in general start out at minimum wage.  Chain stores versus individual restaurants has nothing to do with it.  Sometimes they get a raise after working there for a certain amount of time (6 months, a year, whatever).
