It's the 6th of the month and I didn't get my food stamp benefits!?

I applied and was approved for FS last month. I couldn't get prorated benefits because it was the last day of the month. Now it's the 6th of the next month (the day that I am suppose to get them) and there is still nothing on my card. It's sunday and there's no one to talk to till tomorrow. The website says that you are suppose to get your benefits by 6 am on that day even if it is a weekend or holiday. I dont have much of anything in my house for me and my child to eat. Has anyone ever had or heard of any problems like this before?

Yeah unfortunately you need to talk to your worker about this.  The only thing I can suggest is to go to a food bank when you have these problems.  Call 2-1-1 to find one near you.  As for right now, I dunno I guess you will just have to feed your child now and wait for your food.

You didn't receive any benefits for last month because it was prorated to less than $10. So they gave you this months early. Did you get any at all since you applied?

did you try calling 800 number ? if you have an account # it will tell you what your statis is
