Ever since I've like gone in a new year and a new form all of a sudden ive gone really shy and embarrised

before i could like talk to loads of people and make a fool of my self and i woundn't care, even things like answer a question.

but suddenly i go all red and really shy. Although some times i feel ok and normal.

its things like i go all red when in a shop and need to like ask the person for something or a question.

Anyone know whats happened and ways to get over it?

  1. Sounds like you are young, growing up.  Time will cure it, just hang in there and keep doing your best.  Remember, you might feel you're the only one, but I bet your pals all feel the same  -  and too shy to talk about it.  In a few years, you'll smile at the memory.

  2. I don't know your age, but I'm guessing it's hormones and becoming more self conscious.

Just work on the knowledge that you definitely are a beautiful person with needs and opinions that are equally as important as anyone else in the world.  Try to remind yourself of that often.

When you start to ask someone in a store a question, if you get shy and feel embarrassed, remind yourself that you are a customer, and they are there to help you.

  3. The same thing has happened to me, only in the opposite direction.

I can relate and talk to people easier now. Did anything happen in your life to cause you to lose confidence? Loss of confidence can cause a plethora of things, like social anxiety and extreme self-consciousness. Might I ask, are you prone to having depression at all?
