It a recon marine join the army ?

would they be able to wear all the badges and the ranger tab that they went to school for *** a marine

Actually only a portion. If that Recon Marine went to Ranger School likes handful has, they will rate the Ranger tab, if they are going to be in a Ranger unit. However all the awards and metals has to meet the equivalent (from what I was told).

Like above stated, there would be no way in h**l a Marine would lower themselves to Army standards; because Marines don't like nor care for the SOCOM's organization (although the members are great).  Marines were forced to play along so they created MARSOC.  This caused the deactivation of my Company [2nd Force Recon] that I was so proud to serve!  SOCOM gets way too political for my tastes!  They kinda insulted our demeanor when forming MARSOC, well in my opinion anyway.  Marine Corps does have plans in deactivating the Companies after they realized they crippled the MEF and the Fleet Marine Force.

You can transfer from within socom however, Ranger school or SF school must be completed to wear the tab.

The only things that would carry over are your marksmanship tabs, medals and rank. And in most cases you lose one rank during a transfer. Well worth it tho. Ranger school is hard but if you passed recon school you should know what to expect. Both are challenging schools and actually many of the locations are the same.

nope.  not in the army.  you wear an army uniform.

why on earth would a former marine want to join the army?  especially recon...
