It is tragic!  It is heart-breaking for such a magnificent creature to be driven to break their own legs.  Absolutely!  The part about euthanizing her is tragic, but the part about what led up to her having to be euthanized is much, much more pathetic.  Most humans seem to have lost their natural instinct for "humanity".  Thanks for being one who has not.

    It really sucked because I wanted Big Brown to win and he did, and I was so happy she got second... my joy then got over-casted it was hard to celebrate Big B's win.

  5. I saw the race,and when she went down it got me teary eyed i love horses,and it was trajic as to what happened to her.she was a good race horse.
