It can be fun or not if i go to some countries for travelling alone but by travel agent?

I am planning to go to some countries for travelling at the end of this month.unforturely all of my friends are busy with their work,it seems i have to go there alone without friends go with me together , but by travel agent. i am doubut it can be fun or not? so If somebody have this kind of experience for travel alone but by travel agent,i would like to have your kind suggestions.

well i have found that travel agents over charge...so if you're ok with spending more money then book through a travel agent...if you dont want to spend a lot of money and just want to meet new people and experience new things then I would advise you to either stay at hostels...they are all over the place and people share rooms, eat together, and party together...or book a singles cruise that tours whatever area you would most like to see...that way you will be with othe rpeople who want to meet new people and have fun together....cause experiencing the world alone is going to be very lonely...have fun....

Anywhere is fun if you make it.  If you want to go out of the country pick a place like Thailand, where it's easy to get around and you dont need a travel agent.  Just pick up one of those Frommer's book and go.  I do it pretty often and have a great time =D
