It crosses out minds, yet gets pushed away?

I think alot about how we All have to die eventually. Since we are all going to die how do we know what will happen to us when were gone? All religions say they are right and others are wrong, so whatever religion you follow and have faith in is wrong according to other ones yet right according to yours. What if all are wrong and were all doomed? What evidence is there behind faith? The Only reason i fear death, is a fear that my faith is wrong. Doubt is put into our minds by the evil one in our religion in accordance, yet it makes so much sense. Has this crossed your mind? Please give me some unbiased outlooks if its possible.

  1. "All the greatest spiritual traditions in the world have told us clearly that death is not the end. They have all handed down a vision of some sort of life to come, which infuses this life that we are leading now with sacred meaning. But despite their teachings, modern society is largely a spiritual desert where the majority imagine that this life is all that there is.

According to the wisdom of Buddha, we can actually use our lives to prepare for death. We do not have to wait for the painful death of someone close to us or the shock of terminal illness to force us into looking at our lives. Nor are we condemned to go out empty-handed at death to meet the unknown. We can begin, here and now, to find meaning in our lives. We can make of every moment an opportunity to change and to prepare—wholeheartedly, precisely, and with peace of mind—for death and eternity.

In the Buddhist approach, life and death are seen as one whole, where death is the beginning of another chapter of life. Death is a mirror in which the entire meaning of life is reflected.

  2. Live by faith

Study Jesus with a philosophical mind and no judgements

Do it on your own, without manipulation of others perspective too.

Socrates encouraged you to think for yourself, so do it.

The Kingdom of God is within

  3. Of course there are questions. It's normal to wonder. The only evidence I need to hold fast to my personal faith is to recall the epiphany I had 5 years ago that altered my perception and way of being in this world. It's real enough to me. It is not wrong in any sense. I don't adhere to the idea that there is One way to God. Many paths, converging and leading to the same eventuality. And with that outlook, there is no doubt placed in my mind that I am taking the side road I am meant to take. Different scenery, same destination.

  4. The only unbiased source to answer this question is a dead person because she knows for sure.

I consider that religion is a very personal matter, so it is subjective to the mental condition of the individual and therefore everyone could be right at the same time.

Assuming there is even a soul / spirit, it would carry all the same information of her life.  So, when it crosses over to the afterlife, it becomes the only attachment to this world / universe and it becomes real in the spiritual sense - barring any lost or damages in the transition.  Without the body, it is the only thing about the individual left behind - if that much.

    How would a body-less soul / spirit be sustained?  I don't know.

  5. Personally, I stopped worrying about it years ago. Religion beliefs and superstitions regarding death have no meaning to me.

And since it's going to happen anyway, it doesn't really matter.

  6. I know how you feel. Sometimes, I'd fear of believing in God because I'm afraid the real god(s) would be angry if I did. I fear death because I fear going to h**l and suffering after death for all eternity.

But since I was never really a devout person anyway, when I think about that I'd remove the religion factor in my thoughts, and think of death as rest, which is neither good or bad.

  7. It wouldn't be called "faith" if there were evidence.

If we thought another religion was right, we'd just convert to that religion and believe the previous one was wrong instead.
