It feels great to dismiss http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Azhar-Mahmood-c1116 – Cricket News Update
Azhar Mahmood, the Kings XI http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556 in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and expressed that it always feels awesome to dismiss the best batsman in
the world.
The all-rounder is the only Pakistani player taking part in the fifth season of IPL because of his dual British nationality. The cricketer from Rawalpindi has been doing a brilliant job in the current tournament and has lifted the performance of his team
with some inspirational performances with both bat and ball.
Azhar made his international debut for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, and picked up Tendulkar’s wicket on a number of occasions. In the
on-going season of the cash-rich league, Azhar dismissed the little-master once again at Mohali, and helped his team beat http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians, one of the favourites of the tournament.
He expressed that it is always good to pick up Tendulkar’s scalp because he is one of the greatest batsmen of the modern-day sport.
"Sachin is the greatest batsman of the last 20 years and he has proved this across the world time and again. It's a coincidence that Sachin was my first victim when I made my ODI debut in Toronto in 1996. Although I took his wickets five times later, it
was a memorable moment every time I sent him back to the pavilion. His wicket in Mohali was no exception and it gave me immense pleasure," he said.
While talking about the halted Indo-Pak cricket relations, Azhar said that cricket is something which can unite the neighbouring countries and the two cricket boards must understand that. Cricket rivalry between India and Pakistan is considered to be the
most exciting one and Azhar feels that it is unfair on the cricket fans as no bilateral series between the two teams is played since 2007-08, when the Green shirts visited India.
Azhar added, “Cricket transcends our boundaries. So, a huge fan- following should not be deprived of some quality competition between the two teams."
