I haven't lost not one pound! It has been two months! I have lost ten inches total though from my body. Maybe even more, I didn't measure my arms or chest because those weren't my areas of concern. Anyhow, I have lost only 3/4 of an inch off my hips. Now I look even more disproportionate. My thighs have gotten smaller as well as my calves and I have lost two inches from my waist but my hips and outer thighs stick out like you would not believe! Is it because I have so much to lose from that area or because it is so hard to lose from that area?

  1. Exactly like the other person said, "Muscle weighs more than fat."  I honestly think the "inches" number game is much more important the the "pounds".  If you see yourself looking better and clothes fit better, I wouldn't worry about your weight.  That is unless the pounds are just moving to somewhere else.

  2. Weight is just a number and that's all it will ever be.

What really matters is what happens with your body and how healthy you are.

you can be real thin and weigh 150 pounds if you have enough muscle mass.

My advice to you is to not worry much about the numbers behind it and worry more about your overall health situation. After all, the most important thing is your health, right?

  3. You are probably gaining weight in muscle as you are loosing weight in fat. Muscle is a more dense material than adipose which makes for a lean body. But be aware, because muscle is more dense than fat, it weighs more. So you may actually start to gain pounds. As for your hips and outer thighs... keep working! You are on tright track!! The more muscle you gain, the easier it is to burn fat in problem areas such as those. Muscle thrives on fat... it uses it as an energy source... as food. It will eat it right up. Remember: Workout is key... Combine strenghth training (ie lifting weights) with cardio. :)

  4. its starting to happen just as we thought - things are going to plan, keep it up

remember, your stats (not big) means the process will be slower

  5. Same here. They say it is because our fat is turning to muscle and muscle weighs more. I still don't like it lol

  6. how are you losing all that weight. are you bilemic.  its the diet your using get off of it now or you might become sick.
