  1. Oh man. You will be amazed! Go to their web site and they should have a giant list along with "rules" and stuff. Be safe!

P.S. I'm 99% sure you cannot bring toothpaste exept for the small travel ones that are tiny.

  2. They have established the 3-1-1 rule. It means you are only allowed liguids and or gels that are 3 ounces or less (total) in a 1 quartz size ziplock bag and you can only bring 1 ziplock bag.  So make sure all your liquids/gels can fit into that ONE ziplock bag. Anything bigger than 3 ounce will be taken from you even if there is only a drop left in it. No sharps of any kind.

You are allowed two carry on bags and since it's a short trip I am assuming you will take a small/meduim size suitcase? Otherwise you will be forced to check it in.

All beverages must be consumed before you get to the security line, otherwise it will be taken from you, rememeber 3 ounces or less of any form of liquid and or gel.  You can purchase water/juice/tea/coffee after you go through security.

At security, you must show your boarding pass and ID (any government issued ID is acceptable), take your shoes off, any metal objects must be taken off as well (am able to pass through the machine with my wedding ring on), if you have a laptop, you must take it out of it's case to pass it through the machine. Your coat/ jacket must come off as well. Your carry on luggage/bags will be screened as well.

I would suggest you get to the airport at least an hour or two before your boarding time (not departure). Depending on the airport and time of your flight, you could spend a lot of your time in the security line.

    Have a safe flight!

  3. You should buy those travel sized containers because you are limited to 2 oz for liquids. You need to put all your liquids in a plastic bag. You will need to carry it with you through security. Compartments (above and under the seat) are smaller and tighter now so check your bags to make sure they aren't oversized or you will have to check them as luggage. Put your razor and any scizzors in your checked luggage, not to carry on the plane.

  4. Liquid Exemptions (exempt items more than 3 ounces)

Customers may have the following items, but must declare them to TSA at the

security checkpoint if the items are not contained in a clear transparent resealable

1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag and/or the size of the containers exceed travel size

    (3 oz):

Baby formula or milk (to include breast milk), baby food and/or juice in

containers if a baby or small child is traveling

    Medications (liquid, gel, and aerosol)

Liquids (to include juice) or gels for diabetic or other medical needs

Items used to augment the body for medical or cosmetic reasons such as

mastectomy products, prosthetic b*****s, bras or shells containing gels, saline

    solution, or other liquids; and,

Gels or frozen liquids needed to cool disability or medically-related items used

by persons with disabilities or medical conditions.

Customers may be subjected to a secondary screening if they enter the screening

checkpoint with liquids, gels, and aerosols on their person or in their carryon

    bag.

  5. There are limits on the volume of the things you can carry on.

I recommend that you check in a bag because last time I flew they took away my toothpaste and hand-cream (they were both medium sizes)

You toiletries have to fit in a quarter-gallon-bag (like ziplock bag). Anything over that is not allowed on board with you.

Also remember to not carry any sharp objects (nail trimmers are not allowed)

  6. See site below for rules for carry-on bags. You must bring containers of no more than 3 oz. each of liquids or gels...and they must all fit into one  1qt. size zip-lock bag.  You cannot bring half full or partially full larger size containers.  You will need to buy travel sizes.
