If you want it to be accurate you should definetely wait one more full week. And of course waiting until your missed period is always the best time to take it but if you do not want to wait then take it but make sure to not only do it once.

you can test up to 5 days before your missed period, although the most accurate testing will be done closest to your missed period.  always use your first morning urine, it will have the highest concentration of the pregnany hormone.  best of luck!

p.s.  i tested positive about 2 weeks after conception...i am now 34 weeks!

You can try to test early but it is best to wait until you have missed the 1st day of your period.

I took my first test about 10 days after conception and got a clear positive test. Used First Response and was quite happy with it. SO, if you're antsy... I'd say go ahead and test!! Good luck :-)
