  1. Global Warming is a natural, cyclical, occurrence. It has "existed" ever since the "Ice Age". There were no hydrocarbons, et-al, in Biblical Times. The "Garden of Eden", according to the Bible, is at the joining of 3 rivers. Those 3 rivers don't meet, NOW, but they DID, THEN. Why? The Red Sea is 700' deeper NOW, thanks to "GW". Take away 700' of the Red Sea, you will "find" where the 3 rivers met,& the Garden of Eden's location.

It is only logical, that these "times" come & go. How many Ice Ages have there been? EVERY time the earth "thawed", it was "GW". WE weren't there to "cause it"!! It's just a naturally occuring phenomena. WE NEVER "caused it"!! WE CAN'T "stop it"!! Throwing money at it is a waste of financial resources that would be better invested elsewhere!!

  2. None of them are practical, they have experimented with Fe fertilization. The feasibility factors associated with cost would make it local at best.

  3. a*  c** and e*** wont work, d i havnt heard before so maybe that's your answer but i think it would work!

*only a tiny fraction of the carbon would be sequestered, less than 1 %

**actually increases warming in long term because it suppresses plant growth

*** how long would they stay up? how high would they go? sounds dangerously uncontrollable

  4. A - First I though would have no effect but it would have some. Iron would cause the sea to change the pH to a more acidity which would allow them to absorb more CO2.

B - Would work as a shield against solar energy which is the cause of heat.

C - Would cause more reflection and clouds, a bit like a nuclear winter.

D - I can't think want this would do. The oceans are CO2 sink and placing Styrofoam on them would seem to have little effect unless it was for reflect.

E - The reflection on these balloons would have little or no effect on the solar radiation so would not stop global warming. However, helium would escape through the pores in the balloons and be in the atmosphere. Helium is a Noble Gas and does not react well with anything. With this in mind it is more like to reflect the solar radiation.

    I'm going with D.
