I am 36 weeks pregnant, and my pubic bone hurts so much when I walk, roll over and stand that I can hardly even get up and walk. It clicks, pops, cracks. 3 nights ago, It popped super loud and it felt better long enough for me to go to sleep but now it hurts even worse. Doctor said it was normal, but the pain, it feels like it's broken, with the bones clicking and cracking. What can I do about the pain? Please

  1. Its very normal. The pubic bone is ring shaped and  has to become a little larger for the baby to come out. Unfortunately this separation can cause varying degrees of pain.

My source explains it in an easy to understand way.

  2. if i were you i would go to another doctor or the hospital to find out if it is because i never heard of that being normal and i have three

  3. I havent had this happen yet and thank god from what you are saying but from what i know this is normal it is your hips and pelvis stretching out getting ready for birth...I know I get really sore through out the night expecially and cant sleep as long as i wish i could because my hips are sooo sore I cant stand to lay there anymore and it takes awhile to wear off after i get up and start moving around ....tylenol helps a little but not much thats all the doc told me to take sorry i wasnt much help 4 more wks or less !!!!

  4. I feel your pain!!! I have had that off and on for the second half of the pregnancy. It's the pelvic bone loosening up for delivery. Weeeeeee!!!

  5. u actually can not do anything cuz it happens in the 3rd trimester so rest if u feel more pain but if u walk u will deliver soon if ur baby already dropped if not then have rest u will feel better and when u lie down put a pillow between ur  legs .......

    GOOD LUCK

  6. That is very normal.  With my son I did this, and I thought something was seriously wrong with me.  I started seeing a chiropractor that specialized in pregnant women, and it was the best money I ever spent!  I know you are almost there, but I would suggest doing that.  It is only temporary relief.  The pain would come back a few days after I saw the chiropractor, but at least I got some relief.  Once the baby is born this goes away immediately!  Hugs, I know how miserable this is!
