It is 20 years since the lockerbie air crash.?

I remember it and it was such a tragedy. Does anyone else remember this occasion (i think 21 December 1988)

yes i remember it well, because my father inlaw's funeral was the next day, and my Dad was trying to get home from work to attend , and was on the road heading towards lockerbie, when he got a message on the CB (he was a long distance lorry driver at the time) warning him to change routes, he still thinks he had a lucky escape, as he stopped to eat longer than he would have normally! It was horrific, and too close for comfort, and i think it was our first real taste of terrorists, here in Scotland anyway! WHY IS IT STILL HAPPENING IN THIS COUNTRY?

One of the young men on the plane is buried not too far from my fathers grave, and I still see his mother at his grave site just about every time I visit my dads grave.

If you look back just before the Lockerbie disaster there woz American war ship out in the gulf that woz having a shoot out with some small boats then they picked up a plane on there radar, fired a missile then blew it right out of the sky and hear it woz a passenger plane then Iran said "we are going to get you back for that", then it woz Lockerbie 21 December 1988.

Gosh., I remember my dad coming home from work as a lorry driver and saying that he drove past not long after it happened. He said he'd never forget the sight of the huge crater
