For James Pattinson, the young Australian fast bowler, it was a dream come true to represent his country at the international level and to beat India in the Boxing Day Test match is nothing less than what dreams are made off.

The burden of taking wickets fell on his young shoulders, and he did not disappoint, as the fast bowler picked up six wickets in the opening Test against India.
It is no mean feat, as the Indian batting line-up is considered one of the best in the world, with the likes of Dravid and Tendulkar in the middle order.
Pattinson expressed that he always dreamt to play for Australia, and to play against some of the biggest names in cricket was a wonderful experience. Even though he ripped through the Indian batting line-up in the second innings, he was quick to praise the
Indian batsmen, and was feeling great that he had done it against the best in the business.
The fast bowler said, “For me it's a dream come true to play cricket for Australia. To be out there on Boxing Day and against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chinnadupargea-Sachin-c50607, I wasn't even born when he started playing cricket. To go out there and bowl against
him and have some success against their batsmen is just unbelievable. To get a win is even better.”
Pattinson also displayed his batting skills, and his 37 not out was crucial in setting India a target close to 300 in the fourth innings to win the Melbourne Test. He said that in modern day cricket, it is absolutely crucial for bowlers to contribute with
the bat and he has been working hard on his batting recently.
“Nowadays the way cricket is going, you need to be able to bat towards the end. You've seen so many valuable partnerships from the last two in many games of cricket”, he added.
