  1. since this is in the science and math section, as a scuba dive, i would have to say "narking," or nitrogen narcosis.

having narked myself in belize's blue hole, i can attest personally to its wonder.

were this the music section, i would have answered the english rock band deep purple's 2005 album.

  2. A dangerous drunkedness experienced by divers breathing compressed air at depth.

Nitrogen narcosis or inert gas narcosis is a reversible alteration in consciousness producing a state similar to alcohol intoxication in scuba divers at depth. It occurs to some small extent at any depth, but in most cases does not become noticeable until greater depths, usually from 30 to 40 meters (100 to 130 feet). Jacques Cousteau famously described it as the "rapture of the deep". Its precise mechanism is not well understood, but it appears to be a direct effect of nitrogen dissolving into nerve membranes and causing temporary disruption in nerve transmissions. While the effect was first observed with nitrogen (in air), other gases including argon, krypton, and hydrogen also cause very similar effects under higher than atmospheric pressure. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) appears to exert its effect by this mechanism

It is also the name of the latest album by Pink Floyd!!

    Hope this helps!!!

  3. Nitrogen Narcosis

  4. Rapture of the Deep - is NITROGEN NARCOSIS - is caused of too much nitrogen in the blood and tissues of the body, occurring in divers and others working under high atmospheric pressure.
