  1. A pressure cooker superheats water by heating it while it is under pressure.  The boiling point of water is 100 degrees C at normal sea level atmospheric pressure.  If the pressure is increased, then the boiling point will go up to a higher level.  A pressure cooker allows one to cook food at a higher temperature than is normally found.

Geysers work on this principle.  Underground water is super heated, then boils explosively causing an eruption.

I tried to find a geyser near Seattle, by only found the flaming geyser state park.  This is not a true geyser in that it is really only methane leaking up from a coal seam that is burned in an "eternal flame".  It is possible that the clue is referring to this park, in that the coal and methane are produced by high pressure and temperature, just over a very long period of time.

  2. I would say that it is Mt. St. Helens.

  3. Is it a volcano called Mount St. Helens?
