  1. Cleaning can be so boring but it has to be done right?

I like to put on some fast paced music and try to get so many things picked up before a song is over. Chuck Berry is good for this.

Also, try not to get overwhelmed by the amount of rooms needing cleaned just focus one one room at a time.

Some things can be done while you are working on other things. For example, start a load of laundry or dishes (in dishwasher or soaking in the sink) it can be washing while you vacuum or dust.

When you clean the bathroom, spray down your shower walls and tub, put cleaner in the toilet and leave it sit while you are doing something else, this saves time scrubbing when you come back to it later.

Do you like candles? if so do not light any candle until the room that the candle in is clean, think of it as a reward.

Lastly when you are all done. Treat yourself. Your kitchen is clean. Take your self out to dinner.

  2. Listen to your Ipod and just get in the zone.

  3. Try the Flylady system.

  4. Take a look at the page below.  It might help to 'inspire' you.

    Best of luck.

  5. Tell the girlfriend your trying to impress to help

or go out with the girls for like 3 days and let you clean.

Turn on the soap operas on the tellie, if your a guy

you will stay away from the TV while they are on.

Tell the buds the couch is closed, your Guitar hero

slammin' guitar is on the fritz. Or that to stay, slavery

will come cheap. Start in the places less used and work

your way around. Bathroom and kitchen are last, reason?

    Last used, last cleaned.

  6. tell yourself you really need to  finish cleaning, just think about the consequences if you don't do that. your house bein' dirty isn't helping you in anyway.

just set your priorities instead of being lazy for once on this weekend.
