  1. You'll be teling everyone the next Ice Age is on it's way soon. lol!

  2. I always wondered why it is so much colder in the mountains than it is in the summer.

  3. Not here it isn't.  It's pretty much the same weather now as it was in February.

  4. Not where I live it isn't!

  5. Yeah uh, it's called...... summer.

  6. um, its called summer, where the oliptical orbit of the earth is just aligned to make it hotter, DUH!!!

  7. err it usually is !

  8. I've noticed the same thing. I don't know about you, but I'm all for this global warming thing.  I bought my house in February and it came with a pool.  They called me a fool but I had faith in Al Gore and he was right, the world is getting warmer.  I'm hoping this is global warming thing is here to stay.  Living in Florida where we have no mountains except Mount Dora, which is barely a hill, we aren't getting any ski resorts.  Might as well have warm weather.

  9. I have to say that i havent noticed. Its been raining here for two weeks....

  10. Britain is at the junction between Northern Hemisphere, Arctic cold fronts and the Gulf Stream.

Until recently, a major sea ice barrier in the Arctic circle impeded the flow of cold Arctic ocean currents.  This has now melted, owing to rise in mean sea temperatures and more North Atlantic currents are now free to flow southwards.

Warmer Equatorial waters carry more heat energy, which translates into kinetic energy, in the  thermohaline circulation that flow north, with a corresponding increased in evaporation supplying an increased percentage of moisture, warm air that meets the Arctic fronts, condenses  and rains on poor, old Britannia.

THAT is climate change, buddy... it isn't all sunshine and tropical beaches.

Owing to its position, as the world gets warmer, the UK will get wetter and a little cooler.

  11. Youre not in the UK then - its really windy here, mostly raining and not at all like summer

  12. 100 percent proof!!!    Kinda like their proof that it was false when  it was cold last winter.   Who knows, some on here actually believed it.

  13. That's because it's summer. It's been raining alot too.
