  1. absolutely.  if you're having to strain all day long to read and see things it will definitely cause you to have headaches.  i started wearing glasses in the third grade.  i now wear contacts, but i even get headaches if for some reason i need to wear my glasses for an extended period of time (my vision is better with contacts, so there is an eyestrain when i wear my glasses).  and when you first get contacts/glasses, because your eyes are changing and adjusting, you will still have headaches until you can see well again.  hope this helps!
