It is not a game, called ownership of people, why can't we do what is right in this world?

why do we feel such need for ownership even over people? why can't we learn that we are all interdependent and need one another in the right ways to support each other to assist each other and to encourage one another in real ways even after we have maybe made some mistakes in life? how did it get to be this thing of people are no more then animals to be owned and had? instead of helping ten moms and ten babies and being a surrogate for all of them someone that can care about and be a mutual emotional support for all of them what says that you have to take or steal these babies just to call them yours? it is wrong don't you know that it is not a game! Why doesn't it matter to you who you are hurting in this life and world?

I'm REALLY trying to understand your logic here, and why you're in the 'adoption' section of Y!A when you're so against it.

adoption has been part of the world since it began. Moses was adopted. His mother gave him up to protect him. So saying a mother would rather a baby starve than give it up is wrong. If you saw someone hurting a child, would you not stop them?  I don't know why you are so again est adoption. But that is your choice. But there are those of us who are not and so please respect us as we respect you. Adoption is not easy for the birth mother or birth parents. It is a choice they make because they feel it is best for the child... Its what a parent does, they take care of their children.  Children taken because of birth parents being unfit is a whole other story but still it happens for the best interest of the child.

All I know is if I had a baby and could not care for it then I would rather see him or her have a great life with a family who will love and care for it.  Open adoption is a great thing these days cause birth and adoptive parents can see the baby and be in its life.
