  1. It's because the other services realize that the USMC boot camp is the most intense boot camp out there.  Not everyone who goes through basic in the other services will be able to complete USMC boot. The mind games are a pretty important part of training.

  2. the marines tried to recruit me and im glad im going in the army

  3. When you actually go to Marine bootcamp you will realize the reason why this is so.  The army teaches you the basics.  The Marines teach you in depth... it's a night and day difference.  And let's face it, making it through Army bootcamp is not difficult... Marine bootcamp is very difficult!

And finally, as your mom used to say, "life's not fair, get over it!"

  4. from what i understand though my friend, it's about money. If you sent a marine to what say navy bootcamp after having been through marine bootcamp, your wasting the governements money. Basically paying the most elite basically trained enlisted person more than a recruits salary to fold clothes and makes beds in a detail oriented manner for two months. A waste of money. It'd be a joke to the marine, an easy day, and in my opinion, one h**l of an ego and an attitude for his DI's, TI's, or RDC's to deal with.
