Yes before and after for 3 days. Not nice it's horrible.

The same hormone that causes the uterus to contract during your period also causes other smooth muscles to contract-- like your intestines. So unfortunately gas and loose stools are common. If it's really bothersome, you can try a diarrhea medication.

Certainly is...im usually constipated just before and then have it when Im on which just ADDS to the belly ache :(

Yes, because the contractions in your uterus at this time of the month can irritate your bowels.
