The stylish batsman failed to capitalise on the opportunities before making a strong impression against Bangladesh, scoring a 36-ball 72 to win the game for his country.
The 30-year-old cricketer expressed that he enjoys playing his natural game without fearing too much about getting dropped from the side.
"I have the support of many people back home and most importantly of the captain and the coach," he said. "Some people may have thought this was my last chance but I didn't look at it that way. I just play. Whether I perform well or not is up to God."
Nazir believes that the half-century against Bangladesh is one of his all-time best T20 knocks, as he did not try to slog every ball out of the park.
