  1. No. The speed limit is 90kph and there are many speed cameras. Anyway you wont get to enjoy high speeds because there are many traffic lights. If you kill someone through reckless driving, the jail sentences are rather heavy and you are likely to be suspended from driving for 10 years or more. SG has many other traffic rules and regulations, and i strongly recommend you read them up before you get behind the wheel. If you are always used to very fast speeds, driving safely may be a problem for you, so take care. You see, we are rather serious and sensible about driving, safety and living.

Safety tip for driving:: Any person in a vehicle travelling at more than 120 kph, crashing directly into a large stationary object(tree, wall, house, etc) will be killed instantly. A head-on collision with another car going at same speed, giving a resultant speed of 240kph will cause some internal organs to be ripped off, chests/heads crushed, safety belts torn off, air bags punctured and passengers flying through the windscreen. Passengers will be killed even by small loose items like laptops and cans of drinks, and both cars are likely to be crushed into half by the impact.

    Wish you safe driving! :-))

  2. What kind of stupid question is this? How can driving DANGEROUSLY be safe? Don't think you can even do that at 30km/h.

  3. the maximum speed limit on Singapore Expressway is 90km/h.

  4. wrong country mate ;)

  5. In a closed off road, with the proper license, permits and equipment, it is allowed. Though at 260kmh, you'ld probably be overtaken by everyone else.

But if you drive dangerously, even with all the above in place, you'll very likely be removed from the road.

  6. Singapore is a country of rules and more rules, in fact it is a democracy with a touch of communism. Singapore is also so small that if you could go this fast you would drive from top to bottom in less than a minute. Have a look at it's size.

  7. Sorry, you can't as this is not Germany. You cannot do this as this is dangerous and accidents may just happen in a snap.

  8. No you can't. Singapore's expressways are too crowded and loaded to speed, so please don't do that. You'll definitely injure yourself and some other people. Trust me, if an accident happens in Singapore, it'll be really nasty, what with the number of cars on the road. Even if there are no cars around, you shouldn't speed. The maximum speed you should go is 100 km/h.

  9. speed limit is max 110 in singapore. try driving 260 in singapore and you will find yourself in prison
