It is soon i know but here is my question - is it true that the first cut is the deepest, why or why not?

Yes it is. Met my first boyfriend in std 4. Only started dating when we were 17 (had the same birthday). We were soulmates. He died two weeks before we turned 21. Accidentally ended up infront of a train. He still has a very special place in my heart.

Well for me it was.............I think it is because i was still so young, life has not shaped me yet and prepared me to accept certain things. But I remember having a pain in my heart, I could feel it was broken.

Yes it is the deepest. Because before that, nobody is aware that their heart can be; cut to pieces, ripped apart, trampled on …

After that, we realise that we have very little control over our hearts and that any or most shields can’t protect us. Sometimes we are virtually at the mercy of our own emotions. If the first cut is very deep, it takes a very long time to heal.

Cheri. . .you do not make sense.  Cut what, cut the cr@p and speak up.  If you are referring to a machete or panga attack I would think the second cut will be deeper since the victim is already disabled.  If you are cutting coke or meth for distribution, the first dealer steps on it hardest. . .cutting it deepest for greater profit.

Sorry did I miss something in the interim or is this slang?
