It is storming really bad, and it just stopped for a few seconds then started again.....?

and i heard that meant a tornado was coming or is around somewhere...

is this true?

Tornadoes do usually occur in a rain free base, but that doesn't mean it is whats going on by you.  If it was storming bad and stopped it could just mean one storm passed and a second moved in, but listen to your weather radio or TV for tornado warnings if you have been experiencing severe weather a lot today.

where i live there was a thunderstorm but then it stoped. i think i heard something about a tornado somewhere south?? just check your local weather stations & their website if they have one.
