It is true that the Williams sisters are Jehovah's Witnesses?

They have always been Jehovah's Witnesses.  They do the same things all of the members do like going on the street selling their magazines and doing house calls.

Oh yes, they are. I remember when Serena won the Australian Open in 2007 and when she accepted the trophy she said "First I would like to thank my God, Jehovah" I was like WHAT? never heard that one before.

It's no secret about their religion. I remember hearing about it years ago. JW has some weird beliefs IMO but who am I to judge?

For example:

If you do something outside of the religion beliefs you will be disowned. My exboyfriend brother cheated on his wife, his mom didn't talk to him because she's a JW; I believe the brother and wife are as well.

My JW cousin will not go into churches, even at funerals. I've witnessed her standing outside the church when we've lost family members.

Yes they are they where in my congregation, and i have friends who are in their congregation today. (sheri G we don't sell anything) they go preaching when they have time, and their are other forms of preaching instead of door to door, They always thank Jehovah after a match as well just as they did after Wimbledon Serena said i want to thank my God Jehovah. They are very nice as well.

yes they are... it was broadcasted from our radio last week and that they wont be voting for the us elections because of their religion

Let me help you to understand something about JW's

we are only aJW's as long as we live as one...we put GOD's kingdom first in our lives not the persuit of the world and it's fame or its glory!

the Williams may have been raised in JW's home (....and one of them is baptized ...but even if they profess to honer their beliefs in some things....to be true JW's they would have to live by all the beliefs of their faith and not some!
