I don't think so, bringing together all the foreign players and competeting aganist each other can create a kind of rift among the players (like the case of Bhajji and Sreesanth). It brings difference of opinion among the players and the morality of the sports , it looses the spirit of the game, becomes a game played only for the purpose of money .

  1. I strongly feel that it would have been more beneficial for Indian cricket to build up a team for future, if IPL had devised a strategy of making one or 2 teams consisting of Indian players and inviting teams from other cricket playing countries to compete in the tournament instead of making different teams consisting of Indian and Foreign players in each team.

  2. Well not always .

But there are some players in Indian team playing for money and their personal records who may cause trouble.

In that case you are right

  3. Now this also has another angle...Bringing the best players to play with the domestic players can help in providing maximum exposure to the young talent

  4. It is not necessary, but, it is not a bad idea either!

  5. no

  6. What about the biggest sport in the world? Football (not the American type, I hate the 's' word so I won't use it). And football only gets better and more popular with time, the World Cup is by far the most watched sporting event on earth. It happens in many sports. Should they stop playing Ranjit trophy next? How does it matter whether there are any foreigners?
