  1. All lizards eat their own shedded skin. It is healthy for them and provides them with beneficial nutrients. That is why, after your lizard sheds, you almost NEVER find the skin in the tank. I've had my gecko for almost a year now, and despite all of the sheds he has gone through, I've only found pieces of skin maybe 2 or 3 times. And even then it was just small pieces here or there

  2. Its fine many lizards eat the skin they shed. Its perfectly normal.
