It it too late to start boxing at age 15?

i have already taken taekwondo for 5 years and i wrestle. i am wondering if it is too late to become an accomplished boxer to complete the package. i also want to stay in shape and boxing seems to be a hard workout

  1. 15 is a pretty decent age to start boxing. You should be able to start an amateur career about 6 months after you starts, make sure you get a good number of amateur fights 40 would be good, try and turn pro around 19.

    Forget your taekwondo training it will not transfer over to boxing, basically your going to have to forget everything about punching you learned in Taekwondo.

    Boxing is the hardest workout.


  2. It's not to late. Your still very young. You also have experiance in other fighting sports. You can make it if you try hard enough.

  4. 15 is not too late all you have to do is show your capability (talent and technics) and after 3 years you can be a pro..
